Will Brian Gallant stay on as leader of the Liberal party or will he step aside?
The answer should become more clear on Thursday morning.
In a statement released on Wednesday afternoon, the Liberal party said Gallant will make an announcement “concerning his political future” at 11 a.m. in Fredericton.
Gallant’s minority Liberal government fell during a confidence vote in the legislature on Nov. 2.
At the time, Gallant told reporters he had not made any decisions about his future and would take some time with his wife, Karine, to consider next steps.
