Fuel prices up 3 cents in N.B.

Your next trip to a gas station in New Brunswick is going to cost a bit more.

Fuel prices climbed three cents per litre when the provincial regulator reset prices on Thursday night.

Regular self-serve is now selling for a maximum price of $1.76 per litre while the most you will pay for diesel is nearly $1.80.

Most local stations are selling both fuels for a few cents less.

The price of heating oil also increased by around three cents to a new maximum of $1.50 per litre.

The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board adjusts prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.

In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.77 to $1.81 per litre while diesel is selling for between $1.80 and $1.85 per litre.

On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.78 per litre, diesel costs around $1.85 per litre, and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of $1.29 per litre.
