Expect to see fuel prices increase in New Brunswick on Thursday night, according to an industry source.
Gasoline prices are expected to climb by around 1.5 cents, while the price of diesel will jump by nearly 3.5 cents.
Currently, New Brunswickers are paying a maximum of $1.68 per litre for regular self-serve, $1.68 per litre for diesel, and $1.38 per litre for home heating oil.
In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.68 to $1.73 per litre while diesel is selling for between $1.68 and $1.72 per litre.
On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.69 per litre, diesel costs around $1.73 per litre, and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of $1.19 per litre.
The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board adjusts prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.
