A special weather statement from Environment Canada warns of freezing rain on Friday for Sussex, the Kennebecasis Valley, Kings County. Moncton and Southeast New Brunswick.
Flurries and snow begins on Thursday with four to six hours of freezing rain possible on Friday morning in central and southern regions.
Northern areas could see 15 centimetres of snow and ice pellets.
The system is expected to last from Friday morning to Friday night.
