The Member of Parliament for Fredericton has begun cancer treatments again.
The office of Keith Ashfield released a statement this morning, saying the former federal minister began feeling ill in mid September and a diagnosis from doctors determined a reoccurrence of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
He thanked Prime Minister Harper, his colleagues and the people of Fredericton for their understanding during this time.
Sixty-two-year-old Ashfield was first diagnosed with cancer in 2013.
