Francophone South looks to fill DEC vacancy in Shediac

The Francophone South District Education Council is looking to fill a vacant seat.

It has launched a call for applications to elect a person to represent Subdistrict 4.

They will be responsible for representing the Shediac community of schools until June 2026.

The council meets monthly and supervises various aspects of school operations to ensure quality education for learning.

The school district is accepting applications for the vacant DEC position until this Friday, Feb. 16.

You must live within the subdistrict, be at least 18 years old, hold Canadian citizenship, and not be part of the school staff or the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development.

Applicants must submit a resume, which includes their address and postal code, along with a letter stating their reasons for taking the position.
