Four Displaced In Downtown Moncton Fire

Four adults have been displaced by a fire which damaged a two-storey house in downtown Moncton containing three apartments.

The Red Cross says one woman was treated in hospital for minor burns and later released.

No other injuries were reported.

The fire broke out early Wednesday night around 6 p.m. on Eden Street, between Cornhill Street and Capitol Avenue.

The Red Cross is helping three women with food, lodging and clothing.
