It was a packed house at Moncton City Council last night.
Council Chambers were filled with former mayors and many councillors as part of the City’s 125th birthday celebrations.
Moncton City Clerk Barbara Quigley kicked off proceedings last night.
“And I’m pleased to say that we have representatives here from every City Council back to 1969,” says Quigley.
Current mayor George LeBlanc gave out certificates of recognition to all former council members in attendance in honour of their contributions to City life.
