The dismissal of Dr. Eilish Cleary as chief medical health officer is just one of many firings according to former Finance Minister Blaine Higgs.
The Quispamsis M-L-A says several top level public officials who were changing the way government operated for the better were also fired.
In the face of speculation about the why, Higgs is suggesting Dr. Cleary was dismissed because she believed in what she was doing and ran afoul of the Gallant Government.
Health Minister Victor Boudreau, who has been claiming Dr. Cleary’s dismissal was not politically motivated, also says the full story has not been told.
