There’s more than just learning lines and music for the upcoming production of Mary Poppins.
Director Marshall Button says a company called ZFX Flying Effects is currently on hand teaching some of the performers how to fly.
“This company, has done everything from a high school production, to the Opening ceremonies of the Olympic Games. They have all of the harnesses for all of the people who flying and dance upside down and various tricks that go on. They specialize in making people fly very beautifully but also very safely.“
The production of Mary Poppins runs from February 24 to March 4th at Capitol Theatre.
