Florida woman killed after snowmobile crash

A 61-year-old woman from Florida is dead after her snowmobile crashed into the trees in New Brunswick.

On February 15 at approximately 3:15 p.m., members of the Caledonia Region RCMP responded to a report of a crash on a trail near Alma.

It is believed the driver missed a turn and collided with trees.

Police say she died at the scene as a result of her injuries.

Members of the Alma and Riverside Albert Fire Departments and Ambulance New Brunswick attended the scene.

A member of the New Brunswick Coroner’s office is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
