MONCTON, N.B. – A feathery fundraiser is taking place across Metro Moncton this month.
The Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Moncton is asking for donations for the opportunity to “flock” a friend by leaving a flock of plastic flamingos on the lawn of your choosing.
All you have to do is fill out an order form and the flamingos will migrate over to your friend’s lawn overnight and nest there for 24 hours.
The victim then has the option to make a donation themselves and choose the birds’ next destination.
Proceeds will be used to make matches for children in need in the community.
