Flair Airlines Begins Service Saturday In Saint John

These are hopeful days at the Saint John Airport with the return of air travel after more than a year of pandemic challenges.

Air Canada flights began returning this week and flight availability increases for August.

Discount carrier Flair Airlines will start service at the Saint John Airport on Saturday.

Interim president and CEO Greg Hierlihy said the ultra-low-cost carrier offers very affordable rates for flights.

“For example, I know they had flights starting for as low as $49. [The] typical range would be $79.
You could go online now and book a return flight to Toronto for $140,” Hierlihy said.

Hierlihy said they also heard another carrier, PAL Airlines, which was previously scheduled to begin offering flights in early August will start sooner than expected.

“PAL has put the [start] date as July 30th just prior to the long weekend to start a bit earlier so, that’s good news as well,” Hierlihy said.

Porter Airlines is set to resume its Port City service this fall.
