First New Year’s Babies Of 2020

The two health authorities have announced the birth of New Year’s babies in Greater Moncton.

The Vitalite Health Network has announced the first baby of 2020 at the Georges-Dumont Hospital was a boy born at 12:17-am on New Year’s Day.

Noah weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce and is the son of Samantha Doiron and Chad Doucett of Saint Charles.

A few hours later, the Horizon Health Network says the first baby of the year at the Moncton Hospital was a girl born at 3:20-am.

Evelyn weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces and is the daughter of Amanda Williams and Christian Johnston.

The first baby of 2020 in New Brunswick is believed to be a boy born at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst.

Arriving at six minutes after midnight, Frédéric Pinet weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces and is the son of Mélanie Savoie and Jacques Pinet from Grande-Anse.
