Five iconic women are in the running to become the first Canadian woman to be featured on our money.
Activitists Viola Desmond and Idola Saint Jean, poet E. Pauline Johnson, engineer Elsie MacGill and Olympian Bobbie Rosenfeld were short-listed from the more than 26-thousand submission received.
The Bank of Canada will announce the final selection December 8.
