Firearms Stolen During Break-Ins In Greater Moncton

RCMP say a total of 22 firearms have been stolen during break and enters at homes in Greater Moncton and surrounding areas.

These break ins have occurred since December.

The majority were hunting rifles, and ten were stolen from one home where they were safely stored.

A reminder to the public to have someone check on their homes if they are going to be away .and make arranagements to have flyers and mail picked up, so the home doesn’t appear unoccupied…That will reduce the likelihood of being targeted by thieves.
