Fire has extensively damaged a one and a half storey home and garage on Ammon Road.
Moncton Fire Platoon Chief Paul Bruens says about 16 firefighters responded at around 8 o’clock last night.
Bruens says the fire started in the home and high winds caused the flames to spread to the garage.
Water had to be shuttled in from Gorge Road.
Firefighters were on the scene for about 3 hours.
The house is unoccupied and no one was hurt.
