Things got a little hotter than planned at the grand opening of a new St Louis Bar and Grill restaurant in Dieppe yesterday.
A fire broke out just after 8pm last night at the Kennedy Street location, located across from CF Champlain Mall.
The Dieppe Fire department was called and everyone evacuated after someone smelled smoke.
It turned out the fire was in the wall, but firefighters managed to get it out quickly.
Owner Keith MacIntosh posted on the restaurant Facebook page, that he would let customers know when they will reopen.
