An RCMP investigation is underway after the body of a woman was discovered on Navy Island, near Saint Andrews.
Police say a kayaker discovered the body along a rocky area of the water on April 10 and called the police around 4 p.m.
An autopsy will be conducted to identify the woman and what caused her death.
Both the St. George Fire Department and the Saint Andrews Fire Department helped to retrieve the body.
The Saint Andrews RCMP is conducting the investigation.
