Fundy National Park will benefit from a financial boost announced yesterday by the federal govenrment.
Parks Canada Minister Catherine McKenna announced a $21 million boost.
Fundy will receive $7.5 million of that, for major work on a number of visitor facilities and campground service buildings, as well as over 40 kilometres of trails.
The other $13.5 million will be spent to rebuild Martello Tower, which overlooks Saint John. It dates back to the War of 1812.
