An investigation is underway after a fatal workplace accident on a highway construction site in Caraquet.
WorkSafeNB says a crew member who was working on Highway 11 on Monday afternoon, became trapped, after a bulldozer rolled over and fell into an open gravel pit filled with water.
A work stop order has been put into place while RCMP and WorkSafe NB probe the incident.
The man’s name has not been released.
