RCMP say they have made an arrest in connection with a hit and run on Route 2 near Oromocto.
A 19-year-old Norton man was struck and killed on Tuesday night.
RCMP believe the man pulled over because of mechanical troubles, but when he exited his vehicle, he was struck by another vehicle heading eastbound.
The man died at the scene of his injuries.
The other vehicle fled before officers arrived.
There’s no word yet on whether charges have or will be laid.
RCMP thanked the public for their assistance in locating the vehicle and making an arrest.
