A fatal collision on Route 134 in Aldouane, an hour north of Moncton is under investigation by Southeast District RCMP.
Police were called to the scene around 6:30 last night, where a 75-year old woman from Aldouane died from her injuries.
According to the RCMP, it appears the woman was struck by a vehicle while trying to remove something from the road.
A man and woman who were both in the car were taken to hospital but later released.
While the collision remains under investigation, alcohol and speed are not believed to be contributing factors in the crash.
