After days of tough negotiations, a deal being reached through the Trans Pacific Partnership.
Paul Gaunce is the Chairman of the Dairy Farmers of New Brunswick, he say farmers can live with losing three and a quarter percent of their market to the US, after earlier feeling they might lose up to ten percent.
Gaunce says the devil will be in the details, in terms of what kind of milk products will be imported.
He says the government promising to invest money over the next 15 years to compensate dairy and poultry farmers for potential financial losses from the deal.
