Fall Snowstorm Forecast For Friday

We got a taste of some pre-winter weather this week, but there is more on the way tomorrow.

Moncton and Southeast New Brunswick are under the very first snowfall warning of the season.

Environment Canada is calling for up to 20 centimetres of snow for tomorrow.

Meteorologist Jason Sheppard it is expected to develop over Southwestern Brunswick early tomorrow…and spread across the province throughout the morning.

“Mid to late morning the snow should start, and it should persist right through the afternoon and by the evening, we will see it mix with some ice pellets and we will see temperatures around zero to one degree. It is a fairly quick moving system and will last about 12 to 16 hours total time,” Sheppard says.

Other areas under snowfall warnings include Fredericton and Sussex.
