DESCRIPTION:The Greater Moncton Scottish Association hosts the  \nAnnual Moncton Highland Games and Scottish Festival each June.  \nThe Games take place at the Hal Betts Sportsplex\,  \n on the corner of Assomption Blvd and Vaughn Harvey Blvd in Downtown Moncton. \nOur event includes highland dance\, pipes & drums\, heavy events\, and sword competitions  \nas well as demonstrations\, workshops\, live entertainment\, and cultural exhibitions.  \nWe have bouncy castles and a petting zoo\, food & craft vendors\, & live entertainment.  \nJoin us for feasts of strength & feasts of lobster!

With 21 albums to his credit\, including several gold and platinum records\, his musical career has been international. He is also the author of four short stories\, four poetry collections (one of which\, Faire Récolte\, received the Prix Champlain)\, and a history of the Acadians of Louisiana.
