SUMMARY:Candlelight Vigil following the events in Tumbler Ridge\, British Columbia
DESCRIPTION:On Tuesday\, February 17 at 7:00 PM\, a candlelight vigil will be held at the University of Moncton\, at the commemorative site of the Women and Gender Equality Committee\, located between the Arts building and the Rémi-Ressignol building. This event follows the recent tragic events in Tumbler Ridge. \nThe vigil is organized by Matteo Imbeault in collaboration with the local activist group\, Citizens for Peace. Candles will be provided\, and several short speeches will be delivered to honor the victims and to condemn the online transphobia that arose in the aftermath of the tragedy.
