DESCRIPTION:DIEPPE\, N.B. — The Fun on Ice series returns to Place 1604 on Friday evenings from December 5\, 2025\, to February 27\, 2026 (except December 26)\, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. These skating sessions are free and open to all. \nEach week\, the outdoor skating oval comes alive with a special theme. Skaters can enjoy music\, special guests\, campfires and the ever-popular free hot chocolate. \nNew this winter: free maple taffy! DESCRIPTION:The HubCap Comedy Festival presented by SiriusXM Canada is back with a surgically crafted roster of headlining comedians that will induce side-splitting symptoms of uncontrollable smiles and break outs of belly laughter! This year’s festival welcomes back some of your festival favorites and some fresh new faces that will have audiences wanting to take in every show they possibly can across Greater Moncton and Southeast New Brunswick. \nHubCap’s hilarious lineup of shows are selling fast so don’t delay on grabbing some tickets. This year’s theatre shows will take place at the legendary Capitol Theatre featuring the Canada’s top comics in both French and English. January 29th Nikki Payne will host a star-studded Thursday Night for Laughs Gala with comedians Jen Grant\, Peter White\, Nathaniel Rankin\, DJ Demers\, Patrick Haye and Kelly Taylor. On January 31st CBC radio’s Gavin Crawford hosts the “Because New Brunswick Gala”\, a New Brunswick-inspired take of his hit radio show “Because News”\, featuring a hilarious news quiz panel of headlining comedians and sizzling stand-up performances including Dave Hemstad\, Julie Kim\, Arthur Simeon\, Lars Callieou\, Hannah Veldhoen\, and Chris Locke . During the Francophone week\, Friday\, January 23rd will showcase another edition of the Rendez-vous de la Francophonie Gala starring the one-and-only Mario Jean featuring a talented line-up of comedians. On Saturday\, January 24th the Festival welcomes Marthe Laverdière to the Capitol Theatre stage with her one-woman show along with some hilarious opening acts.
