APRÈS, ON VA OÙ ? – Michel Rivard
A Solitary Musical Theatre Experience

Over the course of two symbolic weeks – the brief, breathtaking bloom of a magnolia outside his bedroom window – “the man who looks like me” (74 years old) reflects on the journey of a life fully lived.

Between doctor’s appointments and choosing an urn from a catalogue, between memories of first love and a walk in the forest with his seven-year-old grandson, he moves through time with honesty, humour, and tenderness. In this intimate solo performance, he questions everything: life, death, doubt, certainty and what might lie beyond.
Through spoken word, poetry, and song, Michel Rivard guides us on a deeply human search for something larger than oneself – fragile, profound, and unexpectedly uplifting.
