Taking place April 11th and 12th, 2026 at Mapleton Park in Moncton, this event attracts competitors from across Atlantic Canada, Quebec, Ontario, and the Northeastern United States. Harness dog sports combine athleticism, teamwork, and high-speed racing in canicross, bikejoring, and scooter, with teams reaching speeds of over 30 kilometers per hour.
For the safety of dogs, participants, and spectators, a portion of trails at Mapleton Park will be closed to the public during race times.
On Saturday, April 11th from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Sunday, April 12th from 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., the Lagune, Cattail, Riparian, and Bayou trails will be fully closed, with partial closures on the Floodplain and Wetland trails.
If conditions are unsafe for racing on Saturday, the park will remain open that day, and full closures will instead take place Sunday from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
These closures are required to ensure the safety of all park users. Human spectators are welcome, but dogs should be left at home! Come out and see what these sports are all about!
Thank you for your cooperation and we hope to see you Saturday!
