Equipment Stolen From Visiting Crews In N.S.

Crews from New Brunswick and Ontario who are helping to restore power in Nova Scotia after post-tropical storm Dorian have become victims of theft.

Nova Scotia Power says equipment was stolen from locked E. Holland and K-Line trucks in Halifax, Dartmouth, Bedford and Stellarton.

The utility says the trucks were parked at hotels while the crews got some rest.

They say the items taken were Stihl chainsaws and Milwaukee drill kits.

Anyone who sees someone trying to sell the gear is asked to contact police.
