Electrical Issues Prompt Fire Alarm At Dieppe Commercial Building

Dieppe fire crews responding to a fire alarm last evening at a large commercial building on Ferdinand Boulevard.

District chief Julien Boudreau tells us the call came in around 9:20 p.m. and crews were on scene for about an hour.

Boudreau says the call was “very minor” in nature and was due to a panel that had some electrical issues.

He says the issue was contained to the panel, but there was a bit of smoke throughout the building.
