Visits Suspended To Dumont’s Geriatric Unit

A possible exposure to the COVID-19 virus has suspended visits to another unit of the Dumont Hospital in Moncton.

Vitalité Health Network says visits have been temporarily suspended to the Geriatric Unit (3E).

The visitation ban will remain in place until further notice.

As a reminder, Vitalité says the ban on visits to the Psychiatry Unit (4B) announced on August 13 remains in effect.

The health authority adds measures have been implemented to ensure the safety of patients, visitors, employees and physicians of the facility.
