Drug Overdose Cause Of Death Of Two Men In Moncton

RCMP have determined that a drug overdose caused the deaths of two men whose bodies were found in a Moncton residence last month.

The two men were discovered in a MacAleese Lane apartment on November 9th.

RCMP say they died of an overdose from the drug fentanyl, which is normally prescribed for pain.

Foul play has now been ruled out.

RCMP say the names of the two men are not being released.

The drug fentanyl has been linked to six accidental overdose deaths in the province since 2007.
