The Gallant government is pushing back balancing the books by one year breaking a campaign promise.

He says they have an extra $165 million in revenue for new programs which he calls “more than enough”.
When it comes to spending on healthcare in the provincial budget, David Coon says the details are key.
“The health budget is huge so the best way to save on health spending is to put money into reducing the causes of illness” Coon said.
