Drivers Asked To Stay Off The Roads

Officials are asking people to stay off the roads Sunday if possible, especially during the height of the storm.

Not only does it keep you safe, but it gives plow operators and first responders more room to do their job.

If you do need to go somewhere, you should prepare for changing and deteriorating travel conditions.

The province recommends checking New Brunswick 511 before travelling so you know what the road conditions are like.

If you have a fire hydrant near your house, shovel a path and clear any snow around it ahead of any possible emergencies.

You can also help reduce flooding by clearing drainage and catch basins near your property.
