Drier Than Normal July In Greater Moncton

If you don’t use a sprinkler, you may have noticed that your lawn has been turning brown recently and there’s a good reason why.

Environment Canada meteorologist Ian Hubbard says Greater Moncton has received less than one-third of its normal rainfall for July.

“Moncton has only received 29.4 millimetres of rain and the normal for July is 92.1 millimetres,” he notes.

It looks like July will end on a dry note too since Hubbard says he doesn’t see any significant rainfall in the short term.
