Draw results for N.B. wild turkey hunt

Were you one of the hundreds of New Brunswickers who managed to get a wild turkey license this year?

Results of the province’s wild turkey draw are now available on the Department of Natural Resources and Energy Development website.

Minister Mike Holland said the 2023 draw saw the highest number of available wild turkey licenses to date.

“Congratulations to this year’s successful applicants and best of luck to hunters planning to take part in what is quickly becoming a spring tradition,” Holland said in a news release.

There were more than 4,000 applications made for the 550 licences that were up for grabs this year.

Wild turkey-specific tags and information packs have been mailed to successful applicants.

The applicant will use their tag to purchase a licence online or at authorized vendors or Service New Brunswick centres.

This year’s wild turkey hunt runs from May 8 to 20. More details can be found by clicking here.
