Donations Stolen From Hospice Shoppe

Codiac RCMP continue to investigate a break and enter at a non profit shop that raises money for palliative care seniors.

Someone broke into the Hospice Shoppe Boutique on Mountain Road between Friday night and Saturday morning.

They stole a small safe off the wall, that contained cheques and thousands in cash.

That money is used to support in-home palliative care and grief support services for seniors and their families, as well as a residential hospice building fund. Hospice Moncton is hoping to eventually a facility that will house the seniors and provide the care they need.

Codiac RCMP is interested in hearing from anyone who might have information on this incident.
