There’s overwhelming support for a nine year old Baie-Sainte-Anne girl who will spend her Christmas at the IWK Hospital in Halifax.
We told you about Alyssa Sippley on Friday. She was diagnosed with a type-A strep throat which is a rare strain of bacteria, and that led to septic shock and forced doctors to remove portions of her arms and legs.
A fundraiser, organized last week by friends and family, has already raised over $77, 000, thanks to the generosity of over 1300 donors.
A Shediac woman also launched a campaign to help support the family encouraging everyone to send cards and gifts to Alyssa at the IWK Hospital.
