The Fundy Biosphere Region is about to become part of a Canada-wide documentary series.
A film crew from Ontario is doing a production called “Striking Balance” which will look at Canada’s eight UNESCO World Biosphere reserves, including the one in Fundy.
Ben Phillips, a conservation scientist with the reserve, says the crew will be heading to the park where an Atlantic Salmon project is underway and also working with Mount Allison students who are researching the spruce bark beetle. Phillips says the crew will be interacting with a wide variety of people to get a real sense of the region.
Phillips says the film series will not be released until sometime in late 2015 or 2016.
