Most of the refugees cannot speak a word of English, and that makes it difficult to communicate.
The Multicultural Association of the Greater Moncton Area needs the help of those who can speak or understand the language..
English as an Additional Language Lead for Anglophone East School District Katherine Arsenault says with the number of students being registered in their school district, they use translators on a regular basis, “We use that quite extensively and we’ll also use that in the coming weeks as the new students come into our district.”
