Residents and business owners continue to watch, as Moncton downtown entertainment centre takes shape.
Construction began in 2016.
And since then, President of the Downtown Moncton-Centreville Inc Derek Martin says there has been a lot of positive chatter in the business community, “For the longest time, people wondered whether this project would ever happen, and there was a lot of doubt. Now I feel like everyone’s tone has changed, and there is now a thoughts of positivity and opportunity. I feel the buzz in the air, around development and business.”
He says everyone is now looking to the future, “We’re now envisioning our downtown and our Main Street filled with seven thousand of people after a game, and what that creates as far as business opportunities, property owners and residents.”
