Dieppe Mayor Looks Forward To Growth In 2016

A big year is coming for Dieppe in terms of investment.

That’s according to Mayor Yvon Lapierre.

He says millions of dollars of investment has gone into the airport area, as well as the recently announced hotel and convention centre downtown

Lapierre adds when Crystal Palace closed, they lost a great facility, “The big part that we were losing was the small convention centre there, that was excellent service for all of the different events that take place in Dieppe. They had the highest occupancy rate in the whole region.”

Lapierre says they are very happy with the location for the new hotel and convention centre adding it will be a great asset for the downtown.
