Dieppe Man Facing Charges After Alleged Incident Of Forcible Confinement

A 49-year old Dieppe man is facing numerous charges in relation to an incident of alleged forcible confinement involving a firearm.

Shortly before 1 this morning members of Codiac RCMP arrived at a home in Dieppe after reports of a woman had been forcibly confined in her home.

The woman wasn’t injured and was able to escape.

John Boudreau was arrested without incident.

He faces charges of break and enter, forcible confinement with a firearm, assault, uttering threats and pointing a firearm.

He returns to court Thursday for a bail hearing.
