Dieppe Gets Funding For Canada 150 Beautification Project

An investment of $150,000 is being made for beautification projects around Place 1604 in Dieppe, to help celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary.

Dieppe Centre-Lewisville MLA Roger Melanson made the funding announcement this morning.

The improvements include, a restoration of the stairs connecting city hall and Place 1604 as well as the installation of a 150th anniversary banner on street lights around Place 1604.

Dieppe Mayor Yvon Lapierre says this project will help make the downtown more vibrant and attractive and will enhance the tourism experience.
