Detours remain on Highway 1 eastbound

Cleanup continues on Highway 1 near Nauwigewauk after a tanker truck rolled over, causing a fuel spill.

The westbound lanes reopened on Friday, but an update from the New Brunswick Emergency Measures Organization late Sunday night stated the eastbound lanes remain closed.

Thirty-six thousand litres of fuel were spilled in the crash last Wednesday.
