Toronto Police say ten people have been killed and 15 others have been injured after a white van struck pedestrians in the Yonge Street and Finch Avenue area of the city.
The van has been seized and one suspect has been taken into custody.
The incident happened at about 1:30 local time Monday afternoon.
Investigators are appealing for information from the public. A hotline for witnesses to the incident will be announced later today. A separate hotline for family members will also be made available. ^js
