A local owner/operator of a daycare in Moncton says cuts to childcare are going to affect already established centres across the province despite what the premier claims.
Janice Sutherland is co-chair of the Education, Professionialism, Young Children group and she says the money Brian Gallant is giving out is for new daycares.
“He (Gallant) is giving all of the existing daycares absolutely no new money and taking away money that he has already given us.”
Rallies are being held across the province tomorrow that have been organized by the Early Childhood Care and Education New Brunswick group.
In Moncton, it will be held from 2-4pm in Theatre “A” at the Moncton Hospital.
