A New Brunswick father wants to see more specialized services for autistic youth and adults.
Harold Doherty’s son Conor is 20 years old and was diagnosed with autism when he was 2.
He tells us that was an early diagnosis but it was due to the severity of his condition.
Doherty says Conor also suffers from seizures which is common impacting 30 per cent of those on the austism spectrum.
He tells us a motion on increasing services put foward in the legislature last week was gutted by the Liberals according to Moncton MLA Ernie Steeves.
